Life @ Le mark 1

SDC Seminar

In association with The Society of Dyers and Colourists – SDC (India) Le Mark organised a seminar on 11th October 2019 at Le Mark school of Art & Design’s Andheri Campus. The seminar was from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm and saw 4 prominent personalities from fashion and textile industry who presented their thoughts on different areas of textiles and fashion. The four prominent personalities are Ms. Vandana Arora who spoke on brands expectation from future designers and sustainability initiative by brands, Mr. Sam Shalgaonkar who presented his thoughts on colour communication and digital innovations, Mr. Anjani Kumar Prasad who communicated about sustainability in fashion and textiles & Mr. Yogesh Gaikwad who talked about colours and how it is a mirage.

A water splash photography workshop was organised at our Andheri Campus where attendees were taught how to make and click artistic water splash art photos. It was free workshop and was conducted by Mr. Pritesh Rao – National Mentor of Canon.

Fashion Styling Workshop

Date: 31st August, 2019
Venue: Dadar, Mumbai

Our Fashion styling workshop was conducted for all those people who are interested in cloth draping and styling. Attendees were taught to style dupattas and convert them in to wearable attires.

A creative illustration workshop was organised for students of Gurukul college, Ghatkopar. They learnt how to use their creative side of the brain to make illustrations out of magazines. They learnt to use texture, colour theory and craft in making an illustration.

Creative illustration workshop was all about enhancing and boosting your the creative part of your brain by designing illustrations using magazines. This involved finding the right shades, textures and fits and cutting and sticking the accordingly on the sketch.
